Unnecessary Quotations

One of my favourite blogs is The "blog" of "unnecessary" quotation marks".  This site came to my attention shortly after my mother and I had been staying in a hotel in Los Angeles, there was a sign in the elevator that said:

There will be "window cleaning" on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
For your "privacy" please be sure to close your blinds.
We "apologize" for the "inconvenience".

Not taking a picture is one of my greatest regrets in life.

Have you seen any "funny" examples of poor quotation uses?

Shut up its still Monday

Every now and then I save things I find interesting on the internet for you dear reader. They go into a special folder called "blog links" but over the weekend Xmarks decided to delete most of my links and when I restored from the backup things were all over the place and missing. Now I'm watching last week's Lost and Sawyer has his shirt of and it is very hard to concentrate.

Oh The Cuteness!

In honour of my new listings on etsy.com I am going to begin what will be a monthly special featuring sellers on the site that I think are good.

The first is Oh The Cuteness, this store is run by Chase who runs my fantastic knitting group.  In addition to being a great crafter she is an awesome person.  She also has some patterns featured in this new book Craft Challenge: Dozens of Ways to Repurpose a Tea Towel.

Is 'Remember Me's surprise ending too much?

There have been a few articles floating around the interwebs about the ending of the film "Remember Me", which I had no desire to see (I will see nothing with Robert Pattinson in it unless he can prove that he can wash his hair just once no matter how awesome Emilie de Ravin is) so I was not put off by the warnings about spoilers.

To discuss the ending I obviously have to ruin it for you and since the filmmakers have spent a large amount of effort not having it ruined you may want to stop reading now if you want to go see it.
